Gaita: Dance and Tradition

Are you interested in dance and want to connect with tradition through movement?

The Program Gaita: Dance and Tradition is a meeting place where the body, music and cultural memory are expressed through Colombian folklore.

Through diverse rhythms and dances of Colombian folklore, we explore the body as a language that conveys history, emotion, and a sense of belonging. Each session invites you to feel the rhythm, recognize your roots, and share through movement in a participatory and respectful environment.

This program is aimed at children, young people and adults from the age of 7, who have prior knowledge and wish to continue developing musically in a community environment.

Program information:

  • Days: Fridays

  • Hours: 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM

  • Place: 180 Poplar Ave.

Connect with tradition, rhythm, and movement as forms of cultural encounter.
